Top Baby Registry Items
As a mama of two I have walked those store aisles making sure I have everything a baby needs! Researched items to find what others like and read a bajillion reviews. I did this with both because with Harlow I was pretty basic. When Sutton came I felt like I knew what I liked and what I didn’t and what to spend a little more money on if we could! Today I am bringing you the Top Baby Registry Items. My sister is due with a baby girl soon and even though it is her second baby there are always things to get and I say put together a registry because it really helps when you want to get a gift the mother actually wants or needs! Also, just a rule I always like to state having a baby is A LOT of work please be considerate when asking to visit. Always bring a little something for the baby and if there are siblings a little something for each of them! Anyways… below is a list of top baby registry items plus a few items I say need to be on your registry because they are tried and true from this mama of two!
Dockatot– I have this one and am obsessed with this one because; hi! girl mom! I love all of their designs they have! Sutton was a little to old to use this when I received it but she loved laying in it on the couch when I was sitting on the couch! You can put it under a play gym arch to keep them off the ground! If I choose to have more kiddos I would definitely use it right at birth! It is so great to put in your baby’s crib while they are so tiny to keep them feeling snug to mimic the womb.
Ollie Swaddle– This swaddle is super easy and has velcro to keep your baby swaddled while sleeping. Helpful with newborn’s startle reflex. The ollie swaddle is made with breathable fabric which is great for all seasons and temperatures in the room. I was not able to use this when Sutton was small but I tried it when she was 7 months and she looked adorable even though she was way to big!
Backpack Diaper bag– I love the Fawn Design bag and this SkipHop diaper bag and Freshly picked came out with a cute back pack diaper bag! I think backpacks are easy to use and keeps you hands free which is what every mommy and daddy wants!
SollyBaby Wrap– I personally have not used this before but I only hear great things so I would say this is worth checking into! If you aren’t thinking you are going to wear your baby often then maybe this isn’t for you.
The Lotus – portable crib or play area. Folds up easy and in a great little bag that can be taken on an airplane as a carry-on as well as can be worn on your back for easy travel. We have been using the lotus since Harlow was born and we are very happy with it! We upgraded to a bassinet/crib bundle with Sutton so when she was little she could sleep in the bassinet and then as she got older it switches to a crib.
Puj Tub– We could never find the right bathtub for either of our girls when they were little. This one looks amazing and has great reviews on it!
Keter seat– I have gotten so many questions about this on my instagram! I got this for Sutton so she could sit up in the bathtub once she got to the sitting age and she LOVES it! I remember my mom having one when I was little and thought it was such a good idea so I scoured the internet looking for one and found this one and I can’t say enough good things about it! Shipping is a little pricey but it ships from overseas so I felt it was worth it! If you don’t want to pay the big shipping cost here is one a little less expensive!
Chicco Key Fit 30 Infant Car Seat– My sister has this seat and stroller and says it has a very smooth ride and loved the easy set up and fold up option.
Baby Bjorn– I have used one of these with Harlow and Sutton and absolutely love it! It was used a lot more with Sutton because having free hands for two kids is so helpful!
Baby Brezza Formula Pro– I have not personally used this but it would totally be on my list if I didn’t breastfeed! It is like a baby keurig! Great for making the perfect baby bottle!
Hatch Baby Rest Night Light and Sound Machine– I have this for Harlow and it is so helpful and Harlow loves the idea of picking a color to go to sleep and then she knows when the light turns green she can wake up and get out of bed. Currently she is still in her crib so when the light turns green she is able to call for me to get her out!
Diaper Genie– I used this exact one twice and it was so helpful to keep the stink away!
Milk Snob cover– Great for covering while nursing because it goes all the way around you snuggly and can also cover the carseat from peepers, germs, or weather!
Fisher Price Snugapuppy swing– My sister has the puppy swing and she loves it!
Snoo Smart Sleeper by Happiest Baby– This sleeper was created by Harvey Karp, author of The Happiest Baby on the Block. This sleeper allows your child to lay flat while at rest versus a bouncer or swing. The rhythmic rocking helps prevent night waking and teaches your child to self soothe. Here is more info to read up on. If you can afford the price tag is a great way to help teach good sleep habits and you can have this in any room of the house! I would definitely look into this for my next baby! I love the swaddle option it has too!
Baby Jogger city mini single– This specific stroller I linked comes with an infant car seat as sort of a travel package!
Baby Jogger City Select double Stroller– This stroller is compatible with most car seats with the correct adapters. I have this one and it works so great with my two kids.
Medela Breast Pump– I have used a few different pumps and I have to say I LOVE Medela! This is a double breast pump with a handy backpack to carry the system when on the go!
Motorola Video Monitor– great monitor to see your sweet baby and won’t break the bank! This one has two cameras. Temperature reading, split screen functioning, & crystal clear two way audio!
Honest Diapers– I love Honest diapers and have never once had an issue in the 4 years I have been using them! I love their bundle option.
Those are the most popular or my favorite baby items that are a must for all baby registries!
