Bear your belly all my preggo mama’s! I love to watch my little girl grow and yes that ultimately means my belly is stretching giving me those stretch marks and a poppin’ belly button at 24 weeks that sticks out no matter what I wear! On the flipside, I have to embrace the changes because God created me and this new little girl just for me to carry. Us women are capable of making miracles! Especially grateful that I have the ability to carry a child when there are so many women have fertility issues. So the stretch marks just come with the territory of making miracles. However, I have a cream that helps the uncomfortable stretching skin and helps to reduce the visibility of stretch marks!
So it isn’t packaged pretty and it doesn’t even look pretty but it works y’all! I actually made it myself with essential oils! The ingredients that I use are Raw Shea butter, unrefined coconut oil, gentle baby essential oil, frankincense essential oil, and lavender essential oil. The essential oils I use are solely Young Living Essential oils due to the purity and therapeutic qualities. Young Living Essential oils also have the Seed to Seal guarantee so I know they have no synthetics contained in them.
The Essential Oils used in cream and why I chose those!
This oil has been around since ancient times and it has an incredible way of creating radiant skin. It helps ease scarring and blemishes on the skin! It naturally beautifies the skin helping to restore the skin. This oil is just amaze-balls!!
Lavender is the MOST VERSATILE oil out there and it is the most popular oil out there. When in doubt I use lavender because it is perfect for skin irritations, and helps with healing stretching skin.
This oil is soothing for mom and baby and the perfect oil during pregnancy no matter what you are going through! Plus it smells incredible! Eases the stretching of your skin and also supports elasticity. **If you plan to be outside in the sun be careful because it contains lemon and that is a photosensitive oil and we don’t want our bellies to get red;)
Pregnancy Cream
Recipe:
Take a 1/2 cup Raw Shea Butter & 1/2 cup unrefined coconut oil and melt it down in a sauce pan for about 10 minutes. Once it is melted down stir and pour into a glass bowl. Let sit for about 5 minutes. Then put in fridge to cool. Once completely cooled and hardened take out of fridge and whisk it to make the cream- you really have to use your muscles 😉 . Add about 6 drops of Frankincense oil, 8 drops Lavender oil and 5 drops Gentle Baby oil.
Apply on belly!
I use this as a face cream as well! It is soooo soothing primarily because this pregnancy has been drying me out like a desert.

Harlo’s little hands wanting to hug her baby sissy! That precious sister bond is strong already! The cream is also safe for babies/children because of the heavy dilution rate! Yay! for all natural safe cream for the family.
