My spectacular Mother’s Day weekend began with finding out the gender of our sweet little babe. We are blessed to be having a healthy baby GIRL!!!! A healthy baby is the ultimate goal for any parent and finding out we are having another little girl is just the icing on the cake. I am one mama who needs to know gender to give more of a personal touch on the pregnancy! I am now able to call her little cupcake, sweet girl, baby girl and so many more obnoxiously adorable names.

Mother’s Day has always been a special day to show my mom how much she means to me. She is my hero. I have all of my mushy gushy love and admiration for her in my last post Trending Gratitude!

My sweet and loving husband, Nick brought me breakfast sustenance aka coffee and donuts, and a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Harlo. Nick truly spoils me every day and makes me feel like a Super Mommy. I am beyond grateful for the love, encouragement, and support he gives me especially when those doubts creep up on me as we go about this journey of parenthood!

Sometimes comparing to  other mama’s and the feelings of creating perfection come out and make me ask the question: Am I doing something wrong? Why do I wear yoga pants and a top knot every day and wonder what happened to the day? Whilst other mommy’s are able to run errands, take amazing pictures and look gorgeous all on the same day? I was on Pinterest the other day and found this beautiful message by Jill Churchill “There is no way to be a perfect mother and a million ways to be a good one”. This my dear mamas is the honest truth. We can get so caught up in being “perfect” when we are missing out on all the ‘good’ we are doing for our kiddos. Here is to being irreplaceable in your child’s life. Harlo loves me when I am dressed to the nines but also when I wear sweats and sit at home with her.  I am talking unconditional love and it makes my mama heart that much more full!
