HAPPY 4th OF JULY!!! We had such a fun looooonnng weekend! I relish in these long weekends because we have daddy all to ourselves for an extra day!
Friday night we went to my brother’s baseball game! Harlo ran around all over with her aunt Justine! Anyone else’s toddler not sit still for anything??
Saturday we celebrated my brother in law Steffen’s birthday! He turned 23 🙂 We had a delicious BBQ at my parent’s house. Steffen received Badmitton from my parent’s as a gift so of course he had to break it out and we all played! Even us preggo’s and Harlo did 😉 At night my brother lit up a firework and Harlo loved it! Made us even more excited to go see fireworks on the 4th!

Sunday we went out and bought ourselves a new sectional for our living room! We went to Ashley’s Home store, Harlo loved to try out all the couches, chairs, poufs and beds! She just made herself at home there!
After shopping and a nap we played and grilled Sunday night! Harlo is becoming a little soccer star running and kicking the ball! She worked up a sweat and had to take a dip 😉
Sunday night Nick and I enjoyed a little date night in! A campfire and smores! What could be better? My love for smores runs deep y’all 😉 I am all about eating chemical free and limiting processed sugar but these natural healthy marshmallows weren’t the best for smores- didn’t melt much. We needed the regular Jet-puffed ones 😉
4th of July was spectacular! It started off with pancakes for breakfast made by the hubby! Can’t go wrong with a pancake breakfast! We celebrated Nick’s parent’s birthdays. His dad’s actually lands on the fourth of July! Harlo got to play with her cousins! They brought a slip in slide but me the paranoid mommy only let her play in the pool part at the end 😉 At night we went to fireworks and lets just say Harlo’s face says it all! She LOVED them! Those are the moments of motherhood that makes it all worth it! I live for those smiles and laughs 🙂 I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th!
What did everyone do?
