Pumpkins, Pumpkins we love pumpkins in the pumpkin patch!! Singing a little pumpkin song from one of Harlo’s favorite Barney episodes! We definitely binged on everything pumpkin this weekend to get us in the Halloween spirit! We spent our Saturday with my little sister Justine! Harlo has really missed her! Busy these days with having a baby and just the days go by so fast you wonder what did I even do today!! We went to the pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins out to paint! This was Sutton’s first time out since birth besides the chiropractor 😉 She slept the entire time but I think she just enjoyed the mommy snuggles! Harlo and Justine picked out 4 awesome pumpkins and I picked out some white pumpkins for my front door decor! Justine took Harlo through a little hay maze at the farm! It was so cute to watch…the first time she went through holding Justine’s hand then she became braver and followed Justine through it then she wanted Justine to follow her through. She got her confidence and asked Justine to watch her go through by herself… I just made that sound nicely she actually said “wait Tine wait here” in her bossy tone of voice and I had to talk to her about being kind and nice for the upteenth time that day 😉 We had a lot of fun at the farm and made it back to the car just before it started raining! Yay for perfect timing!  Justine and I watched Halloweentown together and baked a loaf of Pumpkin bread! The pumpkin bread was DELICIOUS! After Harlo’s nap (that simply wonderful rejuvenation time for ME and Harlo ha ha ha).  Harlo and Justine painted their pumpkins they had picked out at the farm. This was so much fun to watch because they both were so into it and I love that Justine shows Harlo how to do things and encourages her all the time! I love to watch their friendship grow 🙂  Sunday we spent the day with Daddy! We went shopping to Target daddy needed a new pillow… I know we really do some exciting things ha ha ha 😉 We relaxed and enjoyed being at home! Sutton went to sleep around 6pm and slept until 1:30am and I was shocked! Our sweet little girl is getting the hang of sleeping longer stretches! We just aren’t used to waking up in the middle of the night because with Harlo, when we came home from the hospital she slept from 10pm- 3am every night until about 6 weeks then she slept until 430-5am. We had to easy with Harlo in the beginning! I wish I would be able to quiet my mind and take a nap on Sundays especially because Nick is home and able to take care of things if I do go to sleep. Something to work on 😉
