I first saw Freshly Picked moccasins on fellow IG accounts while pregnant with Sutton! The quality materials, array of colors and designs! They have it all and keep coming out with more designs! There is really something for every babe! I was so excited to partner with Freshly Picked to share why these adorable moccs are the ultimate baby shoe!

Sutton is no where near the walking age but I remember researching when Harlo was born that when kids start walking the best is to be barefoot. Reason being during their rapid growth and development, walking barefoot will help babies develop their muscles and ligaments in their feet. This helps to increase strength of the arch and helps our littles gain good posture.

Harlo did go barefoot often partly because I knew it was the best for her and the other part she hated wearing socks and shoes. Would take them off any chance she got! I forced her to wear shoes because of her precious little feet! Had to protect her 😉 Enter Freshly Picked.  I love that softness of baby feet and these moccs will provide perfect protection! Soft-soled shoes are best for baby development.

Freshly Picked moccs are made in the USA out of genuine leather or suede that give a perfect stretch to conform to your baby’s foot. I love the smell of leather 😉 Since the soles are soft versus rubber they give your baby the foot to ground connection as if they were barefoot but providing care for their tender feet! I have heard what a great keepsake they make as well because after your child walks around in them their foot imprints them and you will have that little foot print forever 😉 The only thing I want to point out is there are no traction grips on the bottom of the moccs so when kids start walking hardwood floors can be a bit slippery.

Freshly Picked moccs fit true to size, but please measure your child’s foot before ordering!  Sutton could have fit in a size 1 but I sized up to a size 2. For soft soled shoes if between sizes they say size down. I want the moccs to last her for awhile so I sized up. In the photos they look a little large for her feet! They still stay on so nicely even when she kicks her feet a mile a minute! So nice to find something that stays on their feet! These moccs have hidden elastic at the top to make them easy to put on and STAY ON!! I love that the elastic is at the top versus in the back because it won’t bother the babe’s heels! We have all had those flats that have the elastic in the back and just pinch and hurt your heel right? Okay and that fringe detail just all the heart eyes people! That is my favorite part! 

I chose the birch leather moccs! I am a neutrals girl at heart and also I wanted Sutton to be able to wear them with everything! That is prolly the old school way of thinking because nowadays mixing prints, patterns and styles is the hot trend! Look at those chunky thigh perfection in the moccs! We love our Freshly Picked moccs!
