Mom Jeans & A Pop of Plaid
Being a mom of two I still want to feel and look my best. Often times I feel I speak through my clothing. Am I the only one? I have heard this from one of my friends, Kim from @liveloveblank. She says, “It takes the same amount of time to put on your yoga pants as it does a cute pair of jeans.” You guys it is so true! You can find the most simplest pieces and make them pop! I find myself always going for a variety! I never stick to the same type of clothing but mainly the same colors! Neutrals, greys, blacks, whites, blush! Sometimes I spice it up with a bold color. I thought I would share an everyday look that all of you can pull off!
If I am running errands I throw on some jeans normally ripped and tee or long sleeve tee. Now that we are getting into the cooler weather or just plain freeeezing weather I will always have a scarf for either a pop to my outfit make it look like I am put together or to actually keep me warm. The scarf I am wearing in the photos is from Shopko. Makes me mad for plaid! The neutral plaid design is perfect for those who aren’t ready to commit to a bold plaid and also a large blanket scarf. This one is shaped into a triangle and you just criss cross behind your neck to wrap it and ta da you look gorgeous! This scarf is under $15 so super affordable. I love neutral scarves because of the ability to have it mix and match with so many different outfits! If you all read my bedroom refresh post with Shopko a few weeks back you saw that I used a platform called MavenX that you are able to link from retailers to create boards to shop from! I created a Shopko Home board and now here is my Shopko Style board I have linked some cute pieces on the board! I also linked items from Shopko that are similar to my look in the photos. I love this hat, these boots and oh this cozy sweater is a must! MavenX is a great platform to help make shopping easy at your favorite retailers especially during the holidays!
Thanks for reading loves!
