Microblading… so many questions surround this and I think I probably had every single one! I am sharing a “tell all” about my experience, facts, truths, and misconceptions! If you are interested in microblading you have to make sure you do your research for yourself but this post will definitely put you in the right direction! 

I went to Ink Lash Brow in Pewaukee so if you are local this is the place to go! Even if you aren’t local! Katie is the sweetest girl and she knows brows! Katie is knowledgeable and recommends you always do your research before getting any procedure done. When thinking of getting microblading done she says to be sure to go somewhere that microblading is the main focus.(not just an “add on” service)  The artist’s should be licensed. She has seen some failed brows and has had to fix them. In my opinion this makes Ink Lash Brow the place to go because Katie knows what she is doing and does it well.

She helped ease my mind and all my fears of microblading. I am going to be honest my experience has been very unique. I have very oily skin so the pigment (color) didn’t stay like it was supposed to but I have gone in a few extra times and with a little more trial and error we are learned how to have a successful microblading experience for those who have oily skin! I was honestly scared to share with you all because of that but then I was like nope I am sharing because this is real! There was no pain the first time I went in. The second time I was on my period (oops tmi ?) well I say schedule your appointment NOT around your period because it is bearable but not pleasant. The third time it did not hurt and Katie applied extra pressure to be sure it stuck this time around! SO WORTH THE EXTRA effort! If you are nervous about the pain don’t be!

After the third touch up my brows kept pigment and look FABULOUS! The whole process I shot and it is on my highlights on instagram. The videos show the process and steps Katie took to make my brows look natural and follow the brow shape I should have.

Let’s talk money! This procedure is on the pricier side but it is all about your priorities and what you want to spend your money on! At Ink Lash Brow Microblading is a two appointment process. The consult is included in your first session. The two appointments is the initial and consult which is $399. Message me on instagram or comment here for $100 off! I got the hook up Lol! 

The second appointment is the 4-5 week touch up! (this is where I had to do two touch ups because of my excess oils… yeah ewww but Katie worked her magic and also works with you and don’t be afraid to tell her what you want! She wants you to be happy with how your brows look! ) These touch ups cost $150.

Katie recommends to come in yearly for a touch up but it is also up to you and how you are liking your brows. This yearly upkeep costs $250.

These rules and images are all from Ink Lash Brow! I can only speak for them and their services! I love my eyebrows it took a little extra sessions because of my oily skin but Katie was patient and helpful! Her main goal was to make my brows look amazing and she made it happen! Little brow angel 😉

Helpful tip: Be sure to apply some sunscreen on them while in the sun! Don’t want dem brows to fade 😉
