Memorial Day is here! I am so excited this is like my kick off to summer! Ready to eat all the watermelon and ready to wear all the bikinis this summer! Thinking about how 2020 has really thrown us for quite the loop!

Things seem normal but they aren’t normal. I don’t want to hear anymore about a “new normal” . I am sad to hear all the summer festivals and things I would partake in our cancelled. My kids haven’t really noticed too much about how things are different because I am choosing to find different things we can do to make things seem like they were! Through this tough time I challenge us all to be a little more kind and to remember our purpose here is to do the work of Jesus. Find that silver lining, call up your friends you haven’t chatted with. Have a get together and make this summer the most memorable one out there! Let’s all try not to focus on what we are losing but more what can we gain through all of this? What can we appreciate more in this time?
