Happy Birthday Sutton! Can’t believe she is 1 years old! She is saying mama and dada. She smiles all the time and shows love all the time. She has become the balance to our crazy! Harlow is our wild won’t stop child and Sutton just evens us out and goes with the flow. I love watching her little personality shine through. Sutton is standing and taking steps. She officially started walking October 4th. Her actual birthday was Sunday, September 24th, we celebrated with a pumpkin party. I found great shops through Etsy and Instagram to make Sutton’s party perfect! Hi Everyone! Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July! I loved this long weekend with Nick off and we can just spend time together as a family of four! Harlow and Sutton love when daddy is home to play with them! Bath time is relaxing for us. A time for our girls to play together and wind down for bedtime. Sometimes we take baths during the day just for fun though! In the summer it seems we take baths more often from Harlow playing outside with dirt and rocks,then the copious amounts of sunscreen because I am so afraid of my kids burning. Oh yeah and the dreaded chlorine from swimming. We normally bathe the girls twice a week. In summer we bathe them around 3 times a week and always after swimming! Therefore dry skin is inevitable and a good shampoo/ detangler for Harlow is also on the top of the list! Below I listed our bath-time favorites we use!
Our sweet Sutton’s dedication to Jesus was this past weekend. We are blessed beyond measure to have two beautiful healthy girls to raise. God has been good and today we lifted Sutton up to him in sort of a thank you for creating her for us. Bringing our girls up with the Lord is very important to us. Yes we don’t make it church every Sunday but we keep Jesus in our hearts everyday and through our words to Harlow and Sutton. We got to share in this special day with my sister and her daughter Penny! At church we go up on stage and our personally blessed as parents and then the children are blessed. Decorating Harlow’s new big girl room has been taking us a year to finish! When she was a baby we had a Lion King theme for her because I couldn’t resist those cute lions! We had a sage green paint color. When I was pregnant with Sutton we decided to move Harlow to our office and Sutton would then take Harlow’s nursery. Harlow picked purple for her new room because Barney is purple and she loves her Barney! We chose a lavender type purple because it was more subtle than a dark purple!
