Sylvia Jade is a family-run jade jewelry studio in Richmond, British Columbia, founded by David and Sylvia. We specialize in natural Type A jadeite and Hetian nephrite jade, with a collection that includes bangles, pendants, bracelets, rings, and pieces set in gold or sterling silver.

A family connection to jade

Our family has worked with jade for more than 20 years. As the next generation, we bring that experience to a Canadian studio, supported by established sourcing and production relationships. We choose pieces for their color, texture, proportions, and craftsmanship—and for how they feel when worn.

Our approach is rooted in aesthetics, materials, and the artistry of jade. We enjoy sharing the cultural stories behind a carving while helping you find a piece that suits your own style.

Get to know your piece before you buy

Buying jade online is personal. Color, translucency, and scale can be difficult to judge from a single photograph. You are welcome to ask us for additional photos, a close-up video, or a video viewing of the piece you are considering.

We can walk you through its measurements, material details, natural characteristics, and any visible imperfections. Where a certificate is provided, we can also help you review the information that accompanies the piece.

Our Richmond studio welcomes private viewings by appointment. For customers elsewhere in Canada and the United States, we offer personal guidance remotely and online checkout through our website.
