Bath Time Routine

Hi Everyone! Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July! I loved this long weekend with Nick off and we can just spend time together as a family of four! Harlow and Sutton love when daddy is home to play with them! Bath time is relaxing for us. A time for our girls to play together and wind down for bedtime. Sometimes we take baths during the day just for fun though! In the summer it seems we take baths more often from Harlow playing outside with dirt and rocks, then the copious amounts of  sunscreen because I am so afraid of my kids burning. Oh yeah and the dreaded chlorine from swimming. We normally bathe the girls twice a week. In summer we bathe them around 3 times a week and always after swimming! Therefore dry skin is inevitable and a good shampoo/ detangler for Harlow is also on the top of the list!  Below I listed our bath-time favorites we use!

We have this great seat for Sutton so she can sit up with Harlow! This Keter bath seat has been amazing for bath time! We started Sutton in it around 6 months when she was able to sit on her own! Helps when babies are learning to sit and keeps them safe in the bath tub. The four suction cups at the bottom help to secure the seat to the tub floor.

We started trying new shampoo and conditioner from SoCozy and now we are obsessed with the new bath products! I chose the Hush line because it is for gentle and sensitive skin. The Hush line comes with Shampoo/conditioner, Detangle, Treat, and Style. This line smells uhhh- mazing and the massaging brush on the end of the Shampoo bottle is super handy! Massaging the scalp is beneficial for hair growth. Harlow just started breaking out in little red patches on her scalp so we have been using the scalp serum a lot! I love the spray factor and it comes out in an even spray for all over protection! They have a “No Nasties” stamp on all their packaging. This means all their products don’t have any toxins like SLS, parabans, & phthalates. SoCozy products are sold on Amazon or at Target! They have other lines such as Boing (curly hair), Cinch, Swim, and Boo.

Our favorite bath toys we have been using are Sophie the Giraffe bath toy , Boon pipes, and some bath cups to fill and pour water.

When we give the girl’s a bath we normally will wash them one at a time and then we fill the tub with a few drops of lavender and Epsom salts to give a relaxing bath. Then I give the girls toys and let them splash and play together in the water.

Let me know if you try this line!

xx Jenna
